We asked and this is what our stylists said,
“Hotheads are fabulous! Each extension has a mate, with one going on the bottom and one going on top, sandwiching the hair. This means that the hair lays flat on the scalp and allows you to wear your hair up or down. This process is also less stressful on natural hair and doesn’t cause the breakage we see from traditional weaves. We love this process because it is simple and the final look is both soft and seamless.”
“We use Hotheads hair extensions for a number of reasons. They are human hair with the cuticle intact and are applied without heat or tools which translates to less damage to the hair. Clients can expect to get 8 to 10 weeks of wear per application and because they are human hair with the cuticle intact the can be reapplied up to 3 times.”
“Often, when most people think of hair extensions they think of Brittany Spears, or someone who is taking their hair from short to very long. The truth is we recommend hair extensions for a variety of reasons. We sometimes suggest adding one or two to strategically cover up a bald spot due to Alopecia or even just to fix a bad haircut, because we color customize the possibilities are endless and maintenance is as easy as a blow dry”
