Anneliese Dernehl is an expert stylist, specializing in up-do styles and Balayage. She has quickly earned a reputation among her colleagues as an out-of-the-box thinker with a penchant for flawless blowouts and creative up-dos. During her time as a leader and core mentor at the Paul Mitchell School of Houston, Anneliese learned how to hone her own areas of expertise and to foster the success of fellow stylists by helping over 200 other students improve their own skills. Anneliese knew she wanted to become a stylist when she was a little girl, and she has proved steadfast in her commitment to rise to the top.
As a member of Therapy’s Editorial team and the go-to editorial shoot assistant for Therapy co-founder David Bamford, Anneliese has an impeccable knack for styling and excels in cut and color. She has worked on photo shoots for local designers David Peck and Elaine Turner, and her work was featured on the cover of Houston Modern Luxury’s Men of Style edition. Since starting at Therapy Hair Studio in 2013, Anneliese’s inherent flair for styling has certainly become apparent. “People can learn the mechanics. What we look for is a true talent, which we saw in her right from the beginning,” says Luis Perez, co-founder of Therapy.
Anneliese’s attention to detail and flawless finishes keep her in high demand. Her client list continues to grow as a result of her dedication to excellence. She remains passionate about learning under David and Luis and is a growing asset to the team.
