Luis Perez

Nationally renowned colorist Luis Perez has received praise from all corners of the globe for being a masterful visionary dedicated to training the next generation of hair stylists. Together, he and co-owner David Bamford founded Therapy Hair Studio with the simple mission of building Houston’s premiere hair salon where the best stylists and colorists come together and break the barriers of the industry.

Luis received his formal training in major cities such as Toronto, New York, London, LA, and Paris to master diverse styles from across the world. He continued to further develop his deep portfolio of skills under legendary Beverly Hills stylist Jose Eber and the owner of Tova Day Spa, Tova Kindred. Luis is known for developing the top colorists in the nation, spending his time growing, teaching, and pushing his team to chase excellence. As a testament to his teaching ability, Luis was recently asked to teach a course over advanced color training at Wella AG, located in LA.

While Luis maintains his own fully-booked schedule, he collaborates with his fellow colorists at Therapy, making recommendations and passing on his years of color experience to the team so they can become masters in their own right. This ensures that every client of Therapy Hair Studio can receive color that is up to Luis’s groundbreaking standards.
